INVENTORS WORKSHOP SERIES AT THE MUSEUM OF AVIATION: 3D MODELING

Special Guest Instructor: Michael Rosario, Software Engineer with MERC & Founder of Inspiredtoeducate.net

  • 9 am – 12 noon, $30 each
  • Open to students in 3rd – 8th Grades
  • National STEM Academy at the Museum of Aviation, Warner Robbins, GA

 Registration is closed for this workshop. 

Our students will learn the basics of 3D modeling objects and designing stuff for a 3D printer. Skills from this workshop will empower makers to build elements for video game worlds, art, and 3D printed pieces. We will “print” the student work into a Minecraft world and encourage them to enhance their creations.

The Museum of Aviation Education Center operates Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) and History-focused programs for learners ages 4 to adult under five major programs. Rigorous, goal setting experiences challenge students to solve problems. Programs are aligned to state and national education standards. Programs highlight career opportunities and workforce development strategies and are conducted both on school site and at the Museum of Aviation. During the FY 2016 year, 52,018 participants took part in Museum of Aviation education programs.
