A gala banquet is held each year to install new members into the Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame, which recognizes men and women who have made outstanding contributions to aviation. On August 23, 2008 the following people will be formally inducted:
- Colonel Bert Atkinson
- Samuel Lyons
- Ed and Connie Bolin
- Ernest Shelton
The 2007 inductees were:
- Mr. Francis Anderson "Sam" Baker
- Mr. Joseph Calloway Miles
- Captain Frank M. McAfee
- Lieutenant Colonel Henry Tift Myers
