Robert Scott Heritage Fund


The Robert L. Scott, Jr. Heritage Society was created in 1998 to honor great men and women whose significant achievements in the area of aviation and/or national defense helped build the history and heritage of flight. It recognizes the outstanding lifetime achievements and contributions made by General Scott to his country, the State of Georgia and the Museum of Aviation.

 
     
 

CONDITIONS AND PRIVILEGES OF MEMBERSHIP

Conditions:

  • Individuals are invited to join the Robert L. Scott, Jr. Heritage Society at the pleasure of the Commander, Warner Robins Air Logistics Center. A current list of Heritage Society members is publicly displayed at the entrance to the Robert L. Scott, Jr. exhibit in the Museum of Aviation. Potential members must be sponsored by a current member in good standing.
  • An initiation fee of $1,000 is due upon acceptance into the Robert L. Scott, Jr. Heritage Society.
  • Members are required to remit annual dues of $250 to retain a seat in the Society.

     

Privileges:

  • Annual four-star black tie banquet sponsored by the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center Commander. The banquet will be held as close to General Scott’s birthday as possible (April 12th)
  • Museum of Aviation quarterly newsletter subscription
  • Subscription to Air and Space magazine
  • Personally autographed hardback copy of "God Is My Co-Pilot." 15% gift shop discount.
  • Distinctive Heritage Society lapel pin
  • Prominent, tasteful recognition of membership near the General Scott exhibit.
