On October 13, 2018 the Museum of Aviation B-17 Restoration Volunteers hosted the 26th Annual Wings and Wheels Car Show, as a fundraiser for disabled veterans. With the help of several Central Georgia car clubs, the event was a success. The car show had 100 plus cars and well over 500 spectators. Local vendors, as well as outside vendors, donated to this community event. The B-17 Restoration Volunteers presented a check of $2,900 to the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 33 Georgia, on October 17, 2018.
