Warner Robins – Museum of Aviation Foundation Board of Directors is welcoming a new Chairman of the Board at the start of 2019. Long-time museum contributor and board member, Jeff Smith has assumed the mantle of Chairmanship from Dr. Todd Kinnebrew, the founder of the Hayneville JAMFEST and a local Orthopaedic surgeon. Kinnebrew served as Chairman for two years and will remain as an active board member.

 

“We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Kinnebrew’s leadership over the past two years,” said Chrissy Miner, President and CEO of the Museum of Aviation Foundation. “He has led us through a transformative time of growth and success at the museum. It is the perfect time for Jeff Smith to continue the legacy of great leadership on the Foundation board.”

 

Smith is the President of Jeff Smith Automotive Group, a local automotive group that operates numerous auto dealerships in the middle Georgia region. He is also the Director and founder of the Jeff Smith Classic Charity –which raises money for causes related to Juvenile Diabetes.

 

Originally from Morrow, Georgia, Smith served honorably in the United States Air Force and has been married to his wife Dorena Smith for more than 25 years.

 

Dwight Jones, President and CEO of Ocmulgee Fields, Inc., has ascended to the position of Vice Chairman for the Foundation Board of Directors. Ocmulgee Fields, Inc. is a family-owned business established in 1951 to serve the retail and hospitality needs of the Middle Georgia community.
