The National STEM Academy at the Museum of Aviation offers field trips and outreach programs for schools and organizations grades Pre K – 12th. Curriculum varies per grade level and program is aligned to state and national standards.
The National STEM Academy at the Museum of Aviation is home to Georgia’s only NASA Regional Educator Resource Center (RERC) which provides NASA resources and materials and the STEM Educator Workshop Series at no cost, and hosts the Annual GA NASA STEM Conference. The NASA RERC offers professional development opportunities for in-service, pre-service and informal educators, Altitudes Internships for college students, the Georgia STEM Teachers of the Year Award, and STEM Resource Kits available for check-out.
The National STEM Academy at the Museum of Aviation is proud to offer Scout Programs for both Boy and Girl Scouts. Various badge programs available for Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Webelos, as well as Girl Scout Brownies, Juniors, and Seniors.
The Museum of Aviation is temporarily closed to the public as a public health precaution in relation to Covid-19. This closure is anticipated to last through mid-June.
