Pre K – K grades are full and no longer accepting registrations

1st – 12th grades have limited spaces available.  Walk-ins will be taken Wednesday morning only, on a first-come, first-serve basis from 8:30am – 9:00am or until spaces are full.

SPRING INTO STEM at the Museum of Aviation!

 

Register soon for this exciting three day, Spring Break camp that will engage students in hands-on, Spring-themed, STEM activities.  Students will have the opportunity to have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny Friday morning.

  • Pre K – 12th Grade students
  • March 29, 30, & 31, 2017
  • 9:00 am – 12 noon each day
  • $80 per participant
  • Venue: Education Center
  • Pre-registration is required.

Pre K – 2nd:   Explore fabulous living things and the interesting science of weather. Have fun with engineering challenges.

3rd – 5th:     Learn about green houses, 3D design, and build your own terrarium to take home. Have fun with engineering challenges.

6th – 12th:   Learn to fly in the Mission Quest Flight Simulation Lab. No prior classes required!

The Museum of Aviation Education Center operates Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) and History-focused programs for learners ages 4 to adult under five major programs. Rigorous, goal setting experiences challenge students to solve problems. Programs are aligned to state and national education standards. Programs highlight career opportunities and workforce development strategies and are conducted both on school site and at the Museum of Aviation. During the FY 2016 year, 52,018 participants took part in Museum of Aviation education programs.
